Processing flow follows current process a simple add on for existing customers. Supports both scheme and non scheme Pins

Supports multiple methods for distribution for Pin Numbers

  • SMS ‘push’ – (non-scheme Pins)
  • SMS ‘pull’ – User Initiated request (scheme Pins)
  • SMS ‘push’ – Masked Pin (non-scheme Pins)
  • SMS ‘pull’ – User initiated request Masked Pin (scheme Pins)

Supports fallback to a traditional Pin Mailer in case of non delivery.
Supports Local and International Mobile Numbers

Push PIN

Issuer sends the customers Pin via SMS to the registered mobile number – without a customer initiating a PIN request.

  • Suitable for non financial environments, Carrier, Transit, Corporate or Retail
  • Internet Banking

Pull PIN

Customer initiates the PIN request via a secure process; entering a log in code and password; once the customer has received their card.

  • Suitable for Financial Carrier, Transit, Corporate or Retail issuers
  • Added Security for Internet Banking
  • Lost, Stolen or Replacement Cards

SMS Masked PINs

  • Adds an additional layer of security
  • Designed to prevent “man in the middle attacks”
  • Configuration driven – different e-PIN products can have different text, e.g. merge card holder name
