ABnote Acquires Mailcare Systems

Fort Lee, New Jersey - February 18, 2014 -   ABnote, one of the leading trusted providers of secure products and solutions within government and banking industries, has acquired all of the assets of Mailcare Systems (Mailcare), a mailhouse and fulfilment services business founded in 1989 and headquartered in Melbourne, Australia.  ABnote stated that the acquisition of the Mailcare business will bolster ABnote’s current paper document business, while also adding auxiliary IT capabilities, thus providing ABnote’s existing and new clients with an exciting new range of products and services that currently exist within the Mailcare offerings.

Mailcare's full range of capabilities, along with its incumbent management, operations and customer support teams, will be integrated into ABnote's Australasian document services business, located at its headquarters in Dandenong South, Melbourne, Australia. Mailcare’s current management, account management, financial and operations team will remain with the business and will continue to provide the services customers have come to know and rely on, so for them, it will be “business as usual”.

According to Nicholas Ficinus, CEO of ABnote’s Australasian business, “This is an exciting development for the future of ABnote, with a positive outlook for our valued customers.”  Continued Mr Ficinus, “By combining ABnote’s substantial existing capabilities with Mailcare’s unique range of marketing and fulfilment services, we will be able to offer existing clients of both companies, as well as all new customers, the broadest range of paper document services available anywhere in the world.”
